Since ancient times, thrusters are a practical and, among boat owners, a favorite aid for easier steering in small spaces and under rough conditions. The acquisition of a thruster is, however, usually connected with significant expenditures and a multitude of deficiencies. How much space is required in the interior of the ship? MARINNO „EXTURN“ for better maneuvering abilities
„The exterior bow thruster was initially developed to meet our own needs, in order to achieve more safety and comfort“ says boat fancier Ing. Hubert Holesz. „However, it turned out to be so good that we wanted to share it with other boat fanciers and amateur gliders.“
Compact, practical, efficient – the MARINNO external bow and stern thruster – an innovation which combines functionality and luxury in a unique way.
With its crosscut of 165 mm, at a length of 55 mm, EXTURN can be installed in any type of hull (V-shaped, flat, etc.) inside of a time span of only a few hours, during the season, which provides the owner of the boat and motor boat with a kind of flexibility which was unseen as yet. The optimum grade of operation is achieved because of an extremely short transversal channel of the „EXTURN“ bow and stern thruster, and the engines, due to being immersed into water, are well-cooled and protected from overheating. MARINNO offers a 25 hp version with a 12-volt and 24-volt variety, and the technology can effortlessly be used in boats (sailing boats, motor boats, catamarans...) of a length of up to 20 meters, i.e. 65 feet. The easy-to-use control panel with buttons, a joystick, and wireless remote control offers additional flexibility.
