Exturn thrusters can be installed on both ends of boats whose length is up to 20 meters (65 feet). There are six different power levels on offer, covering each ship type and size. The parameters for a correct choice of power are: the shape of the hull, the length of the waterline, the navigation area (coastal or open sea), wind force, and mass of the ship. The thruster is fastened with hollow stud-bolts, which contain conducting wires. Watertightness is ensured by means of a pressure gasket.
The contemporary market offered two ways to install a thruster (both inside the hull of the boat): classic and hydraulic.
